La Meridiana - Sorrento

Fairly good location

Very low standard, the beds was hard, breakfast was catastrophic. Stiff unwelcoming atmosphere, cold hard materials. very old and worn furniture, cold stone floors in the rooms. Room design are very generic in a old elementary school way.

The overall experience was great, staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast food was very good

One small improvement they could make is to have a small fridge in the rooms

Good location ( very near to Train Station and center- 5 min ) . Good breakfest ( fruits, joghurt, ham, cheese etc ). Big and clean room with AC. Good service in reception on arriving ( received all needed information about maps and train/boat/bus timetables )

The only suggestion is that would be nice to have refrigerator in room. And also would suggest that on booking page there should be information that there are two types of hotel rooms ( with and without balcony ) which are actually with different prices. At the moment you receive automatically room without balcony while booking and when you want balcony you have to pay extra.

The serviced was very good and the staff were helpful. We missed the breakfast and the took a minute to ensure we had something to eat before leaving. Our desk person spoke very good English and was especially courteous.

Location to center of Sorrento shopping and restaurants...

Need a bigger sign for the hotel...easy to miss but this may be due to local regs....

The staff at this hotel were friendly and polite. They would try their best to answer any of your questions.

The rooms were small, with the window locked up. The washroom was very tiny. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Breakfast was decent, but a little repetitive.

This place is a good inner city Hotel for tourists. Supplied coordinates were very accurate with use of navigation system. Hotel is within a short walking distance from local shopping areas, with a good night life, and great dinning. I felt comfortable traveling with small children in the local area. The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff was very welcoming and patient dealing with people who are not familiar with the area. The stay was overall very pleasant.

There is limited parking in the area. More information should be included on the Booked.net website about required documentation at check- in I.E. passports.

The hotel was great, it was a great price for a brilliant location. It was right around the cornor from the square. Like a 5 minute walk. Honestly if you have any doubts dont the hotel is great.

The only thing is there is no pool.

The hotel was not far from bus/rail station which was great and only a short walk away from the main square and bars/restaurants. It was also off of the main road opposite a lovely lemon grove and from the balcony you could see the beautiful sea views. The staff were extremely polite and helpful and breakfast ideal. The rooms were clean and comfortable and totally adequate for our stay in Sorrento. We would certainly use La Meridiana again and would also recommend it to others. A very enjoyable stay!

Just a small observation and that is that more clothes hangers could be provided in wardrobes.

The hotel staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. Very near to the rail and bus station and fairly central with the bonus of being away from all the noisy traffic. Would definitely recommend it.

No safe in the rooms and no internet access. Also noted that in the summer you have to pay for air conditioning which surprised me in a 3* hotel.

The room was very nice, we had a view of the ocean and the neighboring orange grove. The breakfast was good with many varieties of breads, fruits, jams, coldcuts, cereals etc. The hotel was in short walking distance to stores and resturants. Having free parking is a definite plus in a city location. The staff was helpful in suggesting resturants and the location of the ferry to Capri. Its an nice place to stay.
